Various flat roof built up felt systems

A built up felt roof is an established method of weather proofing roofs, normally flat roofs, by using more than one layer of bituminous roofing felt which is bonded to the previous layer.

A man safe system essentially a fixed anchor point or a line system that is installed on the rooftop. The user is attached to the system using a fall arrest system which protects them in the event that they should fall. We offer installation and yearly testing which we are fully qualified to carry out.

Single ply systems - full roof and repairs

Single ply is a complete roof system. It is created from strong and flexible membranes composed predominantly of synthetic polymer. Single ply roofs have far fewer seems than asphaltic rolled roof systems and do not require torches or hot asphalt for installation.

Our client needed an upgrade to his extensions roof which was starting to show signs of wear. Working with him we agreed to replace the roof with a single ply Alwitra.

We stripped the existing felt roof down to the tongue and groove timber. Refelt with 2ml torch on 1 layer to all areas and upstands, then cover in 4.5ml torch on mineral finish in grey.
